Local business owner urges support for clean energy bill

The Desert Sun published an editorial today from Rodolfo Castillo, the owner of Cactusberry Yogurt in Palm Springs, urging Rep. Bono Mack to support the American Clean Energy & Security Act and work to ensure its passage in Congress. On this comprehensive clean energy legislation, Castillo writes:

"It includes just the right mix of policies needed to slash our dependence on oil; put our economy back on track with millions of new clean energy jobs; shift energy production toward cleaner, cheaper sources like wind and solar; and dramatically cut the carbon pollution that causes global warming."
